Petrochemical and refinery complexes are of high importance in a country. Therefore, such matter gets a specific significance in a country like Iran which has the worlds third biggest gas and oil storage. Many refineries have been designed and built in the oil field regions of Iran and it is predicted that Chabahar free zone will change to the third petrochemical pole of the country. Makran petrochemical complex consists of an area with 1400 hectares. 3 storages have been installed which get filled by the methane gas of the Solh pipe line (Iran- Pakistan), ethane gas and concentrated condensations from Asalooyeh. The construction project of the access roads to Makran petrochemical complex has started in March 2013 with the initial sum 264 billion Rials by Kandovan Pars Company.
Kandovan Pars Company finalized the construction operation of the 24 Kilometers road up to the end of subgrade layer within the determined duration. With regards to the notifications of new drawings the contract amendment and attachment in several stages could be reached after 30 months. The company could achieve the construction of a 54 kilometer long road with the average width of 16 meters up to the base layer and the excavation operation volume of 1.93 million cubic meters, bedding in the area of 2.2 million square meters. Stabilization was performed with the lime miry bed of a 1.3 kilometers road by using a WR machine. The embankment operation of 850 thousand cubic meters and production and delivery of appropriate materials for embanking and furnishing to the petrochemical site from the distance of 60 kilometers was part of the project too. Furthermore, the project contained earthy reservoir constructions with the capacity of 1200 cubic meters, air reservoir foundation construction with the capacity of 100000 liters, canal digging for 18 kilometers around the petrochemical site with the average width of 90 meters in order to preventing the flood flow, and constructing a pipe form the bridge for communication. The above-mentioned cases are the specifications of the project with the final sum of 643 billion Rials. Also, in some separate contracts, production and performance of 88600 tons of asphaltic construction and installation of prefabricated managerial and administrative infrastructure offices and a complete landscaping surrounded in a land of 8400 square meters area was also added to the working range of this project. All cases have been submitted and exploited under high quality. Kandovan Pars Company has applied for establishing the asphalt factory, modern stone crushing lines, batching platforms and an equipped quality control laboratory in order to implement this project under the highest quality in the region.
